Love the name. Love the face. Love the smile! This little guy was a total champ! It was freezing and he just giggled his way through the cold. It was a dream shoot. I had a great time taking the pictures and editing them too! Thanks guys, I loved meeting you!

This little guy is so freakin' cute, I can't stand it! I have been dragging my feet a little about having our little bundle join the world, but when I was with this handsome little man I couldn't help but get excited! He was awesome! He slept, and slept, and slept! It couldn't have gone better and I could have kept snapping away for hours.

Baby news & Scheduling Update

Yesterday Steve and I received some rather shocking information about the little man that we are getting ready to welcome into our family...

He is coming on the first week of February!

This is a full week earlier than I had thought even possible as my due date is the 15th. I can't tell you what a pinch this has put on our time left. I still have mountains of things that I need to get done before this little guy gets here and my time just got cut a week short. We'll make it work! I have to say that I am super excited to see this little guy so all the rescheduling will have to work!

This brings me to the reason for this post... I will not be taking any appointments for the month of February. I will be happy to schedule anything for March and will take those appointments as you call.

Neidig Family

I love this family. Not only because they are extremely photogenic, but because they are my great friends! I was so excited when Chris asked me to photograph her family while everyone was in town for Christmas. I got to see everyone that I usually only hear about.

Thanks guys, for putting up with the extreme cold temperatures and bright sunny morning! I had a blast and loved seeing you all!

Beckham ~ 9 months

I promised a longer, more fun post of our Beckham's 9 month shoot, and now I am delivering! You all have been lucky to watch this guy grow. His mom has been faithful at capturing his first year and I have had so much fun being involved!

Josie had a fun idea for this shoot. We have done the on-location thing a couple of times and she did the black backdrop thing when he was born, so she wanted something a little different. She decided that she wanted some really nice pictures of Beck's everyday experiences. So I packed up my camera and headed to her mom's house for a day in the life of Beck. (well, an hour, but we packed a TON in that hour!) Here is what we did...

Beck eating smashed banana's. I have to tell you that he is the cutest eater I have ever seen! He has a way with that tongue that is absolutely hilarious! I wish I had a video camera for the eating part!

Then, after the mess we made with lunch, we took a bath! He LOVES the bath!

We had so much fun capturing Beck's everyday stuff. So much fun, in fact, that I am going to recommend this kind of a shoot for every 9 month shoot I do. It is the way to go! Thanks, Jo, for coming up with such a fun idea!
